Chapter 1-1-1: Normal Verbs

Most verbs fall into the category of “normal” verbs. Usually, these verbs involve some sort of physical action that can be seen with your eyes.

☑ “Normal” verbs can be used in all verb tenses.

Normal verbs: to eat, to touch, to open, to swim, etc.

Examples:

① I open the store every day. [simple present verb tense]

② I am opening the store right now. [present continuous verb tense]

③ I had already opened the store by the time she arrived to help. [past perfect verb tense]
